Furzedown Dyslexia is based in Tooting, and is easily accessible by public transport. Parking is also available.
Can I use the report to request access arrangements from my child's school?
Access arrangements for public examinations are regulated by the JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) and schools must adhere to their regulations. It's essential that you contact your child's school to discuss possible access arrangements prior to the assessment. Further information will be given at the time of booking an assessment.
Can I use this report to apply for the Disabled Students Allowance?
Yes, if a diagnosis of dyslexia is given, the report can be used to support an application for support whilst studying at university or college. Information on how to do this will be included in the full report.
How much is a full diagnostic assessment?
A full assessment, report and follow-up meetings cost £550.
